testimonials
I owe so much of my growth to Chris. Before working with him, I’d never been a confident racer, and had a poor sense of my capabilities. Chris saw my strengths (and weaknesses) from the beginning, and through his training plan, helped me grow into a better version of myself. He is an incredibly passionate coach. His dedication and genuine interest in your progress is palpable. As a medical student with a schedule that is super random, Chris helped me work around things to ensure the schedule was achievable. I’m excited to work with him more and recommend him to anyone looking for guidance in training!

Chris is a fantastic coach. He is realistic, responsive, and incredibly methodical in his training approach. As a physical therapist and coach myself, I really appreciate how clearly his programming reflects both structure and a strong understanding of the athlete in front of him. After being out for several years due to a major injury, Chris helped me rebuild and ultimately have my most successful season back. With his guidance, I achieved my highest-ever finish at the Crescent City Classic, placing fourth overall. His structured and thoughtful approach made a huge difference in my return to racing.

MEET COACH CHRIS
I wasn’t always a runner, or an athlete. I started running later in life and it would always be on and off due to injuries. My performance and health were never consistent because my running wasn’t.
I knew there had to be a better way and there was. After establishing a routine that allowed me to run consistently, I finally realized why people wanted to run marathons or why they cared so much about their time at a local 5K.
I ran my first marathon in 2022 and surprised myself with a 3.15 finishing time. Two years later in 2024, I ran 2.58. Over that time I went from running alone to running with a community, and that also taught me a lot.
First, watching others progress made me realize how far I came, and also provided me inspiration and motivation to continue improving.
Second, there is no magic plan that works for everyone, but there are some principals that do.
Third, those princpals all relate to each other: Consistency, Physical Health, and Enjoyment. They all have their own elements, but it’s impossible to have sustained success without all three of them.
My coaching and training plans emphasize these principals, and are grounded in my personal running exprerience; knowledge based on education and research, and my experience working with runners.
